Who inspired you to be a priest?
I was inspired to be a priest by our pastor, Fr. Don Lomasciewicz, and another priest at St. Isidore’s at the time, Fr. Mark Mitchell, who both displayed a remarkable sense of leadership through great love. Click here to learn more about a priest who inspired David.
Why do you want to be a priest?
The fullness of my life is service to others, as I learned in my family from my parents. I am deeply attracted to the service to the world through the communion with the Triune God, offering my own life in the sanctuary of heaven itself.
What do you love the most about seminary?
The constant Providence. The seminary faculty, firmly rooted in Christ, cares deeply and untiringly for our souls as future partakers in the very same mysteries they themselves live out now.
What are you most grateful for?
I am most grateful to my parents who “showed me the path that I should walk, for I entrusted my life” to them, and now the Lord’s “kind spirit guides me on ground that is level” (Ps 143:8,10), and now I am confident enough in the Lord to “be still and know that He is God” (Ps 46:11).
