Who inspired you to be a priest?
God did. I don’t think my desire for the priesthood was inspired by any one person I knew; rather, it was largely inspired by me taking the effort to learn more about my faith and therefore coming to realize more fully how important the priesthood is.

Why do you want to be a priest?
I want to be a priest because to be a priest is a way to do a lot of spiritual good for others in many ways.

What do you love most about the seminary:
Not only do we always have time for Mass and a holy hour every day, but we are given specific times to do so.  Confession is readily available.  Spiritual direction is every other week. Everyone there is looking out for each other.  SJV is geared specifically towards your spiritual well-being.

What are you most grateful for?
I am most grateful for my “conversion” a couple of years ago. I had always been raised Catholic, but it wasn’t until a couple of years ago that I started to actually try to live my faith and learn more about it.
