​Welcome to the website for the Office of Priestly Vocations of the Diocese of Grand Rapids, MI. This year twenty-five men from our diocese will be in seminary formation programs in preparation for ordination, seven of whom are new to formation. Thirteen of these men are at St. John Vianney College Seminary and twelve are at USML/Mundelein Seminary.

Who inspired you to be a priest?
I was inspired by many people to pursue the priesthood. The two people that inspired me the most are Father Daniel Orris and Father Dominic Couturier.

Why do you want to be a priest?
I want to be a priest to serve God by bringing his people the sacraments, especially the Eucharist.

What are you most looking forward to in seminary formation?
I am looking forward to the communal living and brotherhood of the seminary.
