Who inspired you to be a priest?
Listening to podcasts by Fr. Mike Schmitz, and hearing his story helped me to fall in deeper love with Jesus and the Catholic Faith. Fr. Dominic Courturier encouraged me to answer the call and enter the seminary to discern if the priesthood is what God has planned for my life.
Why do you want to be a priest?
To help bring the good news to the world. I want to help mend broken wounds, reunite broken families, serve young adults, and to be a part of people’s faith journeys no matter where they are at.
What do you love the most in the seminary?
Learning other seminarians’ vocations stories, hearing about their personal triumphs and tribulations, and what led them to where they are now. Diving deep into scripture, learning more about God and His divine plan for the world.
What are you most grateful for?
Studying in Rome during my junior year of college I made friends with a strong group of young Catholic men and women who were on fire for their faith. They showed me that living a Catholic lifestyle can be practical, fun, and rewarding. They encouraged me to live my life for God.
